Panini with Prosciutto, Mozzarella and Fresh Basil

Ingredients
4 slices Ciabatta or sourdough bread
6 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
ΒΌ lb prosciutto, sliced thin
2 tomatoes, sliced
6-8 large, fresh Basil leaves
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: about 5 minutes
Directions

Pre-heat your grill or Panini press. Drizzle olive oil over all 4 slices of bread. Now, put basil leaves and mozzarella slices on two slices of bread. Then layer a few slices of prosciutto on top of that. Finally, top with tomato slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and top with the other two bread slices. Grill the Panini until the bread turns golden brown and the cheese melts. Press down on the sandwiches from time to time to compact and combine flavors together. Remove from the grill and cut them in half. Enjoy!

Serve with your favorite chips or oven fries! You can use various combinations of meats and cheeses that you like to experiment with different flavors!
